Restoration has played a key part in the development of Cholakian Ltd. Our senior restorer has been with us for over 20 years, gaining a wide variety of restoration experience. Our team can make your items look and feel as they were once crafted to look like.
Any repair or break is not too big for us to fix and repair. Our clients' marvel at how we can make a tired piece regain its former glories and we can do this for you also.
Our restorers' specializations are:

Restoration: Fixing breaks, correcting loose joints or veneers, splits and other damages; wood worm treatment and repair.

French Polishing: Re-polishing with colour matching, reviving, removal of scratches, dents, watermarks and burns. Applying polish to leather finishes.

Gilding: Cleaning, re-gilding and general repairs.

Locks & keys: We repair old locking mechanisms to working order and hand cut replacement keys.

Carving & Turning: Carving to replace missing or damaged parts on furniture; turning to make and repair furniture.

Furniture making: We can make sofa, chair and stool frames for you and also have them upholstered.
